VitaeCell is an embryo culture system based upon the microchannel technology.

It provides an excellent simulation of the biological condition.

Embryos can be "parked" in individual microcells while the microfluidic system maintains a controlled movement of medium around the embryo.

VitaeCell is designed to be used tnot only for culturing, but also for sorting, testing, evaluating and fertilizing, as well as other procedures and manipulations, all without the need to remove the embryo from its primary sulture device.

In its most simple configuration, the VitaeCell provides a secure and isolated sulture cell for a single embryo, allowing progressive controlled modification of media to meet the changing requirements of the developing embryo.

Even in this basic configuration the limitation of static sulture is virtually eliminated and the need for repetitive, disruptive embryo handling and media changes are dramatically reduced.
